John + Anna

I photographed John + Anna's ceremony and wedding portraits in Illinois back in May of 2021. They live in Austin, TX but wanted their ceremony back home. Fast forward to October of 2022 when I photographed their big reception celebration at the stunning Barr Mansion in Austin, TX. Barr Mansion has the most beautiful property and venue. I absolutely adored it. After a threat of rain, we ended up with the most beautiful weather. It was so fun to focus on the venue, cocktail hour and reception memories. Those are some of my favorite things to photograph on a wedding day anyway. All of the loved ones, congregated into one place to show support for the union. In my opinion, the guests and loved ones get overlooked on the wedding day by so many photographers. As a bride myself, one of my favorite things was being able to see how happy my guests were. How much fun they were having. It's always my mission to tell the whole story of the day, which includes your loved ones.
